Gonzaga University's School of Engineering and Applied Science Summer Immersion Program ApplicationLoading... Gonzaga’s School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) believes that women engineers and computer scientists promote transformational practices in communities. The world needs more women engineers and computer scientists. The SEAS Summer Immersion Program (SSIP) for high school women at Gonzaga University promotes a greater understanding of and engagement with the fields of math, engineering, and computer science. SSIP will take place on Gonzaga University’s campus July 6– 11. Participants will learn from Gonzaga faculty and students, engaging in research experiences, STEM activities, touring state-of-the-art facilities in Spokane, and living on Gonzaga’s campus. There will be workshops for college preparation and STEM careers, and an opportunity to meet with Admissions and Financial Aid. SEAS is seeking fifteen (15) rising high school junior and senior women interested in math and science, who want to learn more about Engineering and Computer Science. Expenses for housing and food are covered; a stipend is available should students need assistance with travel expenses. Student mentors from SEAS will support participants in the residence halls.
